Jimmy’s began as a humble takeout spot just down the road on New Haven Avenue. In 2007, we moved up the street and expanded into the dine-in restaurant you know today.

If you're a NYer and don't like Frank Pepe for whatever reason, this is your pizza! Great crust with the familiar Queens / Brooklyn topping. Heaven!

A casual and very nice place to have a bite. Staff is super friendly. Place is immaculate. You can see the attention to service. Pizzas are fantastic with that great crust crunch and they don't skimp on the toppings. Wine, beer and soft drinks available. Great value.

I had a great experience at Jimmy’s Pizzeria! I came with my family and everything was enjoyable from start to finish. We ordered the bruschetta to start, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For our main, we had a medium Kennedy pie, which was absolutely delicious — the crust was just right, and the toppings were generous and full of flavor.

The atmosphere was welcoming and perfect for a family outing, and the service was friendly and attentive. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food and the experience they provide.

Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to others! 🍕

I went for a lunch and ordered a small Cheese and Sausage pizza, I didn't know what to expect but was extremely happy. The pizza tasted Fresh and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The service was excellent from start to finish—every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. You can tell they really care about their customers.

The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious, and the portions were huge—definitely great value for the price. The pizza had that perfect balance of flavor and crispness, and everything we tried tasted homemade and authentic.

Wow! My first experience with New Haven style and I can see why Portnoy loves it. Great crust, little flop, sauce was spot on. He only gave them an 8.1 (which is solid for him), I said they were an 8.2. Service was superb, couldn't ask for better service. The French Onion Soup was absolutely delicious. We also had the garlic knots, which were the best I've had. The garlic sauce and marinara mingled a sweet dance on my taste buds, get them, you won't be disappointed. The only thing I regret is I didn't get a hoodie to take home, maybe they will reach out and let me know how I can get one 😁 DO NOT pass on Jimmy's Apizza.

This place is amazing! I live a town over from New Haven and used to work on a pizza truck, so I know good pizza and this is it! The crust alone gets 5 stars! So far I've tried sausage, pepperoni, plain, mashed potato and their stuffed bread, all delicious!

One of the best pizza places in Connecticut. Got there at 5pm looking for just a single slice, but they stop at 3 o'clock. They were nice enough to cook me up a small within 8 minutes, and it was spectacular. Great crust and cooked, just right. I would absolutely recommend it, and this is from a local whose fav is Zuppardis in West Haven..

We got 1/2 cheese and pepperoni pizza, Bbq wings with ranch.. Our 1st time try Jimmy’s apizza( we are from MA) They are delicious! Very enjoyable.. thank you Jimmy’s apizza..

Ordered out. Pizza is good. Would I drive from South Stratford to buy it again? Provably not. Three Pizzas and chicken tenders and fries. 90$ Woof Faaa……

Tasty food and friendly service. I like the weekly specials, keeps it intriguing to know what’s coming out next! My toddler loves their pizza, I wish they offered slices of pizza for kids all the time and not just at lunch time. My toddler won’t eat a whole pizza but a slice is just right. So usually we pop in for lunch instead of dinner because of it not being an option during dinner time. Overall great food and great ambiance.

My husband came in for a pickup of pizza and a grinder. We were told to pick up at 645pm. Husband arrived at 7pm due to an unexpected accident and the rude woman behind the counter had the audacity to begin reprimanding him for being late. ARE YOU SERIOUS? We did just fine while you were closed for renovation. Bye Bye Now. You should check your helps attitude. We were long-time customers. Not anymore. ??
